Our Target
Opportunities Unlimited is dedicated to reaching the young men of Spokane, with concentration on the West Central neighborhood. We intentionally employ young men who are desperately searching for the Lord. Our program teaches the life skills necessary to succeed as contributing Christian members of society.
It is important for us to partner with other ministries in the Spokane area. It is mainly through these other ministries that we receive our applicants for Opportunities Unlimited.

Our Method
Opportunities Unlimited can best be described as a work-based transitional discipleship program. We help young men become contributing members of our community, through a spiritual redemption and relationship with Jesus Christ, lived out in the work of our hands. We make disciples through hard work.
Our ministry is not a hand-out service of any kind.
We believe that a primary key to long-term spiritual growth is personal sacrifice. We ask the young men who participate in our ministry to attend Bible study every morning before work, be involved in church activities, and contribute time and work in community service. We also find paying jobs, and ensure that the young men in our ministry have plenty of opportunities for financial stability through hard work.
We teach solid Biblical truths, and ensure that our participants are able to get plugged in to the Christian community. This is key to growth and change. Our young men get the opportunities to learn about being active members of Christ's body; the Church.
We pay an honest wage for work completed. The ministry does not make any money off of our participants. Every dollar they earn, they get to keep. Opportunities Unlimited does keep a record of rated work performance for each of our young men. We then conduct coaching sessions on a monthly basis, based on work performance, to inform and improve work ethic and reliability. This is key to ensuring accountability and growth in our ministry participants.

Our Volunteers
There are many ways to get involved in Opportunities Unlimited, and we need your help. Our volunteers can work side by side with our young men, engaging them in friendship and encouraging them in their faith. They can join our church and develop intentional relationships with our participants. Volunteers can also hire our crew to conduct labor for any project or service they may need.
