History of OU

OU is the brainchild of Dwight Spotts. Under his direction and leadership, the program became a part-time ministry of First Free Methodist Church. During the summer of 2009, Dwight hired Riley Palmer to take over the ministry as Executive Director. The local Board of Directors was set up shortly after that, and the first jobs began. Currently, Opportunities Unlimited is a full-time ministry of First Free Methodist Church. It is dedicated to employing young men from the local community who desire to seek the Lord, and work hard for lasting change in their lives.

Mission Statement

Making disciples through hard work.

What We Do

Opportunities Unlimited is a work-based ministry program of First Free Methodist Church. We do labor for any homeowner/contractor in our community that is interested in supporting the ministry through job opportunities. This work includes any job that is manual labor intensive - usually construction and landscaping jobs, with the exception of finish work. We have practical experience with roof/gutter cleaning, roof stripping, roof patching, tree and brush removal, stump removal, roto-tilling, sprinkler blowout, sprinkler installation, indoor/outdoor painting, pressure washing, demolition, construction site clean-up, etc...

How We Get Work

Our ministry is supported by generous donors, and by the jobs we complete. Anyone who would like to schedule our services, with a project or service in mind, can contact us for more information. It's as simple as clicking on the "contact us" tab above, or by calling Riley Palmer at (509)723-5739.

How Much We Cost

In order to preserve ministry integrity, Opportunities Unlimited works at cost, and does not have a profit margin. We complete our work in good time, and guarantee customer satisfaction.
